Despite its unassuming facade, Shack Tapazaka's interior is one-of-a-kind with high ceilings and cozy ambience. Working with raw accents like exposed concrete walls and beams to create a minimalist yet contemporary space that enhances the striking architectural design features whilst retaining a sense of the building’s original form and personality.
The first TAPAZAKA restaurant in Hong Kong! Shack Tapazaka takes its inspiration from the izakaya in Japan, combining it with tapas-style of serving to offer a unique lifestyle and social dining experience right in the heart of Hong Kong. Situated on Yiu Wa Street, one of the liveliest streets in Causeway Bay, it is also a great place to enjoy our bespoke cocktails, people-watch, and hang out.
Affectionately known as Keggy Wheel, it is Shack Tapazaka's most stand-out design feature; an oversized steampunk-esque wheel that doubles as storage for beer kegs. It pays homage to the Tapazaka dining concept of drinks/zaka(酒) and the raw contemporary interior design.
